Ring Sizing
Accurately determining your ring size is essential for a comfortable and secure fit. This can be especially important when purchasing eternity bands or rings with texture or engraving that make resizing difficult. For the most precise fit, we recommend getting sized professionally by a fine jeweler near you or visiting our showroom for a personalized fitting experience.
If this is not possible for you, reach out to us and we can recommend alternative means for finding your correct ring size.
At home printable sizing methods, methods using zip ties, strings or the like often result in an inaccurate size. An at home ring sizer can be a cost effective way to measure at home.
Whether you are being sized by a professional jeweler or at home, it is important to measure using the correct type of sizer. If you are using a thin sizer and plan to purchase a wider ring, you may get an inaccurate size. Use a thinner ring sizer for daintier pieces or a wider one for wide designs.
Ring Size Recommendations
When choosing your ring size, consider the style of the band. Comfort fit bands are crafted with a slightly rounded interior, making them easier to slide on and off and ideal for everyday wear. Non-comfort fit bands, with their flat interior, may feel snugger but offer a traditional aesthetic.
It's important to remember that finger size can fluctuate throughout the day and season. Changes in temperature, as well as food or drink consumption, can cause your fingers to swell or shrink.
For example, hot weather or salty foods might make your rings feel slightly tighter, while cold weather can lead to a looser fit. Additionally, travel, especially flying, can cause swelling.
It is vital to be aware of this when selecting a comfortable ring size.
To account for these variations, it's best to get sized when your hands are at a neutral temperature and avoid measurements right after consuming salty meals or beverages with alcohol. Additionally, wider bands tend to fit tighter than thinner ones, so you may need to size up slightly for rings with a broader profile.
We can guide you through all these considerations, ensuring your ring is as comfortable as it is stunning.
